Company Philosophy
Motion Cycling & Fitness is a bicycle and fitness retail store located in the heart of Fishers, Indiana.
In the world of specialty bicycle retail, we here at Motion know that you, our cycling family members, are tired of the same old shop experience and demand something unique and exciting when you are ready to purchase cycling equipment and accessories.
At Motion we offer that something different that you want and need in order to feel excited about cycling again! We provide an atmosphere that is both educational and exciting for our customers. We are not your traditional bike shop. Through our store layout and design, product offerings, outstanding customer service, and community outreach, we create a welcoming atmosphere where our customers can feel free to browse, test, chat, meet for group rides, or just "hang out". We call our store a shop...because that is what it is! We don't over do it with a lot of fancy fixtures or luxury floor and wall treatments. We spend our money on exceptional-quality, useful, and most importantly, FUN bicycles and equipment. And we absolutely LOVE to work on bikes. Bicycle service has always been, and always will be out passion. We will work on any bike you have and we will do it well.

Chris Richter:
My name's Chris. I have lived in Fishers since 1982 and have been in love with cycling since I can remember. In fact, most of my best childhood memories are of riding my bike around this town back when it was just a bunch of cornfields and a handful of people. I started my career in the bike biz back in '94 as a bike builder at a local shop and bicycle service is still my passion. I own the store but you will always see me behind the counter working on bikes, probably yours! After working as a builder, service manager, sales manager, and store manager, I took a job working as a manufacturer's rep for Specialized Bicycles and then Bianchi USA. Working for those companies and servicing literally hundreds of other bike shops for those four years, I learned the right and wrong ways to run a shop. Which brings me to Motion. Motion is all of my experience, dreams, and desire to serve my community all wrapped up in a bike shop! So please come in! I hope you enjoy your experience here as much as I enjoy helping you!
